Wes Siler commented on the biker gang nonsense from the FP this morning. Enjoy.

ok, I'm not a biker and so I am a bit ignorant of their slang, but what is a squid? I mean I gather that it is maybe a lame biker of some sort, but what really is it? I keep seeing it in the discussions about this story.

I didn't want to post on the original article, because Front Page, so here is good.
Goddamn. I'm not sure what surprises me more: the collective horribleness of the bikers or the lack of police response. In either case, before watching the video I was under the impression that some of the bikers themselves were run over. Attempted murder is never cool, so I took their side. But after seeing that only their bikes got trashed after they used them as a roadblock to antagonize an innocent motorist.... My god. That's just horrifying. I hope at the very least they get their bikes impounded/auctioned/scrapped, but of course that won't happen.

Let's be honest here...If the driver was legally allowed to carry one of these, these punks would've scattered in a heartbeat.

"hicaps" are a pain to carry, also the term hicap/high capacity is stupid and arbitrary. Spare mags in the glove box yo.

True, and true.
I mostly had in mind Glock's magazines; my service gun in security was a Glock 17, which had 17+1 in 9mm.
